Rare nowadays for me to come across previously unspotted words in Green-Wood, but bumped into some fundamental human concepts recently.

In the past two weeks of wording Green-Wood has taken me to over 20 newly added cities, including my birthplace and at least 6 other cities I’ve visited over the years before the pandemic shut down most travel. All aboard!

The Glossary’s a boom-town this past week, adding several Occupational/title words and moving into new cities across the globe. Among new jobs/titles added were: CARDINAL; CHEVALIER; GOLDSMITH; IRONMONGER, MARQUIS, and PARSON.
Newly discovered cities were: COLOMBO; DAYTON; LIMA; MONTGOMERY; ORLANDO; SCRANTON; and WELLINGTON. And ROMANIA joined the Glossary’s league of nations.
Not to be overlooked, the Glossary’s first interjection: EEK !!

Today’s finds led to the Animals category getting amended to Animals and insects–and getting generally creepy-crawlier–with CONGER, LEECH, and ROACH. Highlights include an upgraded DEAN, an icy bright GREENLAND, a shy PURPLE, a green-footed ROOK sarcophagus, and a commanding WORK.
